Wedding Programs

For most couples we recommend beginning  preparation for your wedding dance at least six months in advance.  This allows you and your fiancée time to become familiar with your steps and music.  Even if you are in a last minute crunch we are still available and happy to help.  We welcome others in your wedding party who want to learn for your special occasion as well. 

Our primary instruction method is private lessons.  This format is especially effective with wedding couples.  In private lessons your instructor focuses specifically on your particular needs as a couple.  

When you attend your first lesson, please bring  the music you have selected for your wedding dance.  Your instructor will begin teaching you the appropriate dance for your song.  If you have not chosen your song yet, we can make suggestions . 

Can we learn a routine?

A routine is choreographed dance patterns in a specific order to your wedding song. 
Your instructor can create a routine for you if that is what you want. Do keep in mind 
that routines require some time to learn. If your wedding date is close, we can still help. 
All dances are made of patterns that can be used together in any order you wish. When 
you come in for your first lesson, your instructor will discuss your dance with you and determine

 if general patterns or a routine will be best.  We can also introduce you to other dances so 
that you will feel comfortable dancing throughout your reception.
